@Nick Pelis: Thanks for letting us know. I guess it could be the chance that the cable was for charging only, not for data.

Ran into this issue as well. Swapped cables and the DK connected normally.

Hi, it seems to be the issue with the USB line, have you made sure you use a proper USB cable ? When I connected the board with the USB power cable (with no data line) I had the same behaviour on the board (LED5 blinking rapidly). Also try to connect the board with another PC for testing. If it's not the issue with the cable, I think you can check with the distributor for a replacement.
