For windows 8 64 bit install gcc-arm-none-eabi-6-2017-q2-update-win32-sha2.exe (82.57 MB) ?

The SDK is tested and verified using GCC ARM Embedded 6.3 2017-q2-update, while you have installed gcc-arm-none-eabi-5_4-2016q3. The error reported from your make command instruct you exactly how to fix this. You need to change the file Makefile.Windows to reflect your installed GCC version. You can also install the version used for testing the SDK, to avoid having to change the Makefile configuration.

1. installed version of gcc-arm-none-eabi-5_4-2016q3-20160926-win32.exe https://launchpad.net/gcc-arm-embedded/+download

2. install MinGW https://sourceforge.net/projects/mingw/files/latest/download?source=files

3. Download uECC source code from git (github.com/.../micro-ecc)

4. Unzip micro-ecc code at “nRF5_SDK\external\micro-ecc\”

5. Change folder name to “micro-ecc” ex) \external\micro-ecc\micro-ecc

6. Move to "cd /c/nRF5_SDK_15.0.0_a53641a/external/micro-ecc/nrf52nf_iar/armgcc" on Msys

7. make

From your image, it looks like you want to do something like this:

make

You need to enter the directory for the version you want to build, where the Makefile is located. It looks like you tried to do this, but you need to add command 'cd' before the path to the directory. You should then be able to run make. You can also build the library for all targets by running the script build_all.

I install MinGW And run msys. But I do not know what I must write in the msys window. When I write make I get error (no makefile found).

How to solve this problem?

After installing ARM's 6 2017-q2-update gcc I thought I'd finally licked getting the micro-ecc library built. Man was I wrong! But rather than go through the whole mess, I'd been getting the below error. I particularly enoyed the part where it said No error on running the archiver but changed its mind.

make: Entering directory `C:/nRF5_SDK_15.0.0_a53641a/external/micro-ecc/nrf52hf_
iar/armgcc'
Creating library:
C:/Program Files (x86)/GNU Tools ARM Embedded/6 2017-q2-update/bin/arm-none-eabi
-ar: No error
make: *** [micro_ecc_lib] Error 1
make: Leaving directory `C:/nRF5_SDK_15.0.0_a53641a/external/micro-ecc/nrf52hf_i
ar/armgcc'

The solution turned out to be explicitly running mingw's make from micro-ecc/nrf52hf_iar/armgcc with

cd micro-ecc\nrf52hf_iar\armgcc
\mingw\bin\mingw32-make

This incantation results in a nice micro_ecc_lib_nrf52.a archive to play with.

Unfortunately the uECC.c.o object included in the archive throws an IAR error

Error[Lt009]: Inconsistent wchar_t size, uECC.c.o(micro_ecc_lib_nrf52.a) has wchar_t size 16 bits

app_error_weak.o and 90 other objects, some of them in dl7M_tlf.a and 11 other libraries have wchar_t size 32 bits

but at least it's no longer a silly problem associated with an old 'make' from 2002

(I realize that you're not in this situation and have it working but thought this might save someone else 3/4 of a day getting past micro-ecc. It's a shame the library uses gcc asm ops and a GPL license)

No need to merge those files. Make sure that you have set correct number for your current softdevice. if you are using S130 v2.0.1, the number of softdevice is 0x87 not 0x80

Softdevice and bootloader(Compiled) hex file are uplaod through nRFgo studio.

Thank you . uECC is successfully compiled. When i upload zip file through mobile app (nrfTools) showing error OPERATION FAILED . Key generation : nrfutil.exe keys generate private.key zip generation :nrfutil pkg generate --hw-version 51 --sd-req 0x80 --application-version 4 --application D:\app.hex --key-file D:\Private.key D:\app_dfu_package.zip

Unix and Linux doesn't use "" . You should change to "/" instead of "" and do not copy windows folder path from windows explorer. Just type on your mingw32

Download uECC source code (github.com/.../micro-ecc)
Upzip micro-ecc code at “nRF5_SDK_x.x.x\external\micro-ecc\”
Change folder name to “micro-ecc” as "nRF5_SDK_x.x.x\external\micro-ecc\micro-ecc"
Open Msys2 shell
Jump to uECC project folder for your IDE (Ex. Keil/IAR/GCC) ex) cd nRF5_SDK_14.2.0_17b948a/external/micro-ecc/nrf52hf_keil/
Build project with "make" command

If you are working on nRF52810 you need to build "nrf52nf_keil"
