&lt;p&gt;The root cause of the issue that ECEJeff had is covered by &lt;a href="https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/com.nordic.infocenter.nrf52840.EngA.errata/anomaly_840_180.html?cp=2_0_1_1_1_56"&gt;this errata&lt;/a&gt;.  This is fixed on the QIAABB version, so that means that you have another issue.&lt;/p&gt;
