I'm trying to get the FDS to work, but it's giving me a headache. I'm using SDK 13.1 and S132 4.0.2 on a NRF52832.
In the beginning I thought I had that issue where the events simply don't get forwarded to my event handler, but the issue

RE: FDS write kills softdevice somehow - SDK 13

Thanks for sharing.

RE: FDS write kills softdevice somehow - SDK 13

Apparently, there was a hardfault being raised due to some optimization issue. I lowered the optimization settings from -o3 to none and the issue went away.

Then I kept implementing the feature I wanted and when I re-enabled the optimization the error didn't show up anymore. Sadly, I'm not able to reproduce the issue anymore (for debugging purposes).

RE: FDS write kills softdevice somehow - SDK 13

I was able to test my functions and to successfully write to flash with them passing a statically typed constant array of data (like in the examples), however, now I'm having this issue: devzone.nordicsemi.com/.../

RE: FDS write kills softdevice somehow - SDK 13

Strange. Would it be possible for you to upload your complete project so I can test it here?
