Apparently, there was a hardfault being raised due to some optimization issue. I lowered the optimization settings from -o3 to none and the issue went away.

Then I kept implementing the feature I wanted and when I re-enabled the optimization the error didn't show up anymore. Sadly, I'm not able to reproduce the issue anymore (for debugging purposes).

I was able to test my functions and to successfully write to flash with them passing a statically typed constant array of data (like in the examples), however, now I'm having this issue: devzone.nordicsemi.com/.../

Strange. Would it be possible for you to upload your complete project so I can test it here? If it is public you can edit your question and attach it, if not you can create a MyPage case through nordicsemi.com and share it there.
