I would suggest you to follow my blog <a href="https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/blogs/1085/getting-started-with-nordics-secure-dfu-bootloader/">here</a>. It&#39;s for BLE DFU but should be very similar to Serial DFU.</p><div style="clear:both;"></div>
