my usecase is the following: I'd like to use SoftDevice for BLE Advertising / Scanning - every now and then I'd like to "pause" BLE for a few miliseconds and send data via an unmodulated carrier using on-off-keying. However I also need to swich

RE: nRF52832 unmodulated carrier via timeslot?

Chobaso ;)

RE: nRF52832 unmodulated carrier via timeslot?

Bo shuda Torbjørn!

Yes, during a timeslot you have full control of the radio, and can use it in any way you see fit.
Just make sure to power off the radio by the time the timeslot ends.

To change frequency you need to disable the radio, change the channel, and power it back up again.
Starting the radio takes 40us in the fast mode, so the whole process should be finished in less than 50us.

No, there is no such limit for the nRF52.

Best regards
Torbjørn Øvrebekk
