I'm trying to flash the S110 onto my nrf51822 SoC, but nRFgo gives me the following error. (Also, hitting recover just gives me an error: "an error condition was detected in the JLinkARM DLL").

I am facing a similar issue. Has anyone found solution for this.

I have custom board with nrf51822.
I am trying to flash it using Jlink Plus Programmer/debugger(Same as the one shown above).
But neither of KEIL or nRFgo studio is detecting the device.

We are connecting Jlink to custom board using Tag-Connect TC2030 -CTX-20-NL

Can you kindly suggest where we are going wrong ?
Jlink is detected by both nRFgo and KEIL.

Is there any document which explains programming of nRF51822 with JLink programmer/debugger ?

What settings/configurations need to be to program a nRF51822 chip using JLink Plus.

As per my understanding we need to connect

SWDIO

SWDCLK

VCC

GND
of programmer to nRF51822 lines

Thanks in advance

RE: "No device detected" in nRFgo studio (can't flash S110)

You need to connect the Vcc & GND to the jtag as well. It can happen if there’s no specification in firmware about how it can come alive after reset.

Referring to the solution answered here: devzone.nordicsemi.com/.../cannot-recover-with-nrfgo-could-not-read-ahb-ap-id-could-not-connect-to-target

Try to open J-Link Commander from the start menu, and write the following:

r

w4 4001e504 2

w4 4001e50c 1

w4 4001e514 1

qc

Hope it would work. It did for me everytime.

Best,
