&lt;p&gt;No, this will not work.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;You have to disable CE to switch the radio from TX to RX, or vice versa.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If you disable CE, set PRIM_RX to 0, and enable CE again, it should work.&lt;/p&gt;
