I have my nrf 52 dk and nrf connect 1.1.1. 
 I have soft device v3 on my nrf 52. 
 I connect my board into my computer, NRF connect recognizes my board and gives me com 3. It asks me to update to firmware 1.1.0. We noticed the issue. We had that issue here occasionally. Unfortunately, we don&amp;#39;t have a solution for now. Our developers are looking at a the issue. For now you can try to:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Reset the computer&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Try to downgrade nRFConnect to v1.1.0 or 1.0.0&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Try to downgrade Segger Jlink to &lt;a href="https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/attachment/ba9dbbae2ffca25fa415536e4d26a48c"&gt;v5.10n&lt;/a&gt; for example. Make sure you replace the Segger firmware by using Jlink Configurator and right click -&amp;gt; Replace firmware.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If you have nRF51 dongle/DK, you can use nRF Master Control Panel as an alternative.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
