i did it to explain what i tried to do i have in our_service.c, a function called returnei this function returnes value of variable ii initially at value 2, when i catch any kind of data in our characteristic (any vlaue sendend over BLE via my smartphone) the value of ii will be at 0 and gpio pin20 will be at low level(main.c)

i tested it and it didn't work the test that i did is about making gpio pin 20 at low level when i receive any kind of information and it it didn't work the gpio pin 20 is still at high level

You can use Master control panel or nRF Connect to write values or strings to the characteristic. The values should then be printed to your serial terminal by the printf() functions in the on_ble_write() function.

Please have a look at the "Completed Code" branch of the tutorial. It shows how you can write to a characteristic.

just as i have said before i use the tutorial but in this tutorial there is no explanation about write event the files is attached

my problem is there i don't know how i make the write event, i can wirte the characteristic but i don't get the write event

So everything works except setting the gpio? You are writing to the characteristic from your mobile? And receiving the write event on your peripheral? Can you upload some code showing what doesn't work?
