Ok not sure what happened in the previous install but simply uninstalling and installing via pip a couple of times fixed it!

pip uninstall pc_ble_driver_py

pip install pc_ble_driver_py

I then got an error message saying "failed to locate the pc_ble_driver shared library..." so I repeated the uninstall/install process and then it worked!

Thanks Jorgen, I didn't compile from source, I used pip. Do I have to compile from source?

It looks like you cloned the GitHub repository. Did you compile it from source as described in the readme? Have you tried installing using PyPi, to see if this works?

Have you tried adding the path to the pc_ble_driver_py folder to the %PYTHON_PATH% environment variable?
