Since SDK 12.3 uses S130 v2, which is supports only rev 3 of the nRF51-series silicon, revision 2 is not supported.

Any SDK that uses a revision 2 and 3 supported SoftDevice will work on both devices. This is then nRF51 SDK v6.1 to v10.

SDK v6 uses S110 v7.x, and this is compatible with revision 2 without any changes to the code base.

Note that when using rev 2, you have to enable the CPU blocking during events, ie: do the reverse of what is shown in this case:

This is because rev 2 had a potential issue with concurrency if the application accessed the AHB-bus in an on-going connection event. This issue was fixed in revision 3.
