 i get two warnings from my c++-compiler (arm-none-eabi-g++ (GNU Tools for Arm Embedded Processors 7-2017-q4-major) 7.2.1 20170904) if I use the header cmsis_gcc.h in the NRF5 SDK 14.2.0 with C++17:

&lt;p&gt;The most recent nRF5x SDK 15.3.0 still uses version 4.30 from October 2015.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The file &lt;a href="https://github.com/ARM-software/CMSIS/blob/master/CMSIS/Include/cmsis_gcc.h"&gt;cmsis_gcc.h&lt;/a&gt; is part of the &lt;a href="https://developer.arm.com/embedded/cmsis"&gt;CMSIS library&lt;/a&gt;, it is not maintained by Nordic Semiconductor. If you have requests to change anything in the files, you will have to contact ARM support.&lt;/p&gt;
