Unfortunately, I do not have any schedule for when Python bindings will be added. Support will come first in pc-ble-driver (C/C++ version), then pc-ble-driver-js (for support in nRF Connect), and finally in pc-ble-driver-py. You can follow the development in the feature/v6-upgrade branch on GitHub.

Now that it has been 6 months, is it possible for you to give an updated estimate for pc-ble-driver-py bindings?

Thank you Jorgen for your reply. I am successfully able to use those .hex files from v6-upgrade branch for nrf52840 preview development kit. It worked after nRF Connect updated its firmware to latest connectivity firmware.

I want to do the same functionality for FENSTEL EV-BT840F board which have same nRF52840 MCU. I am able to load the same connectivity firmware to EV-BT840F board.

My question is EV-BT840F has CP210x UART Bridge on their UART. Do I have to do any changes in pc-ble-driver-py code to make it work with this board?

It would be a great help if there are some reference work, where pc-ble-driver is used in chip like FENSTEL BT8xx chip

There is no stable release with support for s140 yet. You can follow the developement in the feature/v6-upgrade branch on GitHub.

Hi,

I cannot give any exact dates, but we are working on support for s140 softdevice. This should be available within a few months. It should not take long from release in pc-ble-driver to the -py and -js bindings are updated, as these are used by our development tools.
