I finally could pass the test.

In my advertising report the Address Type was set to Random but the PTS searched for Public Address.

With flag set to BLE_GAP_ADV_FLAG_BR_EDR_NOT_SUPPORTED i passed the test.

Wtih your ble_gap_adv_params_t there is no change in behaviour, still can't pass the test.

Which softdevice / SDK are you using?

I was thinking of filter policy you can set when starting advertising on the peripheral, for instance:

    ble_gap_adv_params_t const adv_params =
    {
        .type        = BLE_GAP_ADV_TYPE_ADV_IND,
        .p_peer_addr = NULL,
        .fp          = BLE_GAP_ADV_FP_ANY,
        .interval    = ADV_INTERVAL,
        .timeout     = 0,
    };

however it may also be that you need to configure some filter policy in the PTS, but I am not familiar with that tool.

Thanks for your reply, indeed the PTS tool sets the Scan Filter Policy to Accept White List Adv Only but i don't know where to change this Filter.

Hi, I have double checked our own test code, it should only be necessary to set the BLE_GAP_ADV_FLAG_BR_EDR_NOT_SUPPORTED flag and for instance use the device name in the advertisment packet. Have you used any filter policy here that may prevent scanning request?

I set the flag to BLE_GAP_ADV_FLAG_BR_EDR_NOT_SUPPORTED but still can't pass.

With nRF Connect on my Smartphone I can see that only this flag is set.

Any other idea?

Hi,

It may be useful to have access to the GAP test specifications from here:
https://www.bluetooth.com/specifications/qualification-test-requirements#v5

Then in the GAP test specifications document you can find in:
4.6.2.1.2 GAP/DISC/NONM/BV-02-C [Non-discoverable Mode Undirected Connectable Mode]

"The advertising data received by the Lower Tester does not contain the Flags AD type with the Limited Discoverable or General Discoverable flags set to 1."

So I believe the only flag you should set here is BLE_GAP_ADV_FLAG_BR_EDR_NOT_SUPPORTED.
