&lt;p&gt;We do not have a RTOS example on Thingy 52 so you have to implement this yourself. I suggest that you first download the &lt;a href="http://www.nordicsemi.com/eng/nordic/download_resource/61951/6/45651084/125422" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"&gt;Thingy SDK&lt;/a&gt; from our website. Then implement RTOS into the Thingy firmware. Take a look at the &lt;a href="http://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/com.nordic.infocenter.sdk5.v13.0.0/nrf_freertos_example.html?cp=4_0_4_4_4_1" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"&gt;RTOS example&lt;/a&gt; in the SDK.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Also, t&lt;span&gt;he simplest way to flash the Thingy would be using&amp;nbsp;a nRF5x DK with a 10-pin 2x5 1.27 mm pitch cable(like&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;a href="https://www.adafruit.com/product/1675"&gt;this one&lt;/a&gt;), and&amp;nbsp;&lt;span&gt;connect&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;a href="http://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/com.nordic.infocenter.nrf52/dita/nrf52/development/nrf52_dev_kit/hw_drawings_v1.0.html?cp=2_2_2_5_0"&gt;P20 or P19 (Debug out)&lt;/a&gt;&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;ports to Thingy P9.&amp;nbsp;Then use the onboard SEGGER J-Link debugger to&amp;nbsp;flash the chip.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
