Could you check what the CDT parser shows for main.c? Note that you should not check this from the generic project settings, but for the main.c file:

If the symbols are not successfully found, you must rebuild the index for the project.

Hi!

Eclipse runs a CDT-parser on the output of your "make" operation. If this operation is a silent operation (ie: does not print anything wrt. the compiler options), CDT will fail.

Can you make sure that your default build command is set to "make VERBOSE=1" in your Eclipse setup? This will ensure that everything is echoed when building.
