I am going to apply a Arduino CAN bus shield onto nrf528400 preview DK. I was integrated this shield with Arduino board and a 3rd party BLE module. Now, I am going to move to Nordic BLE board.

You can program the nRF52832 using Arduino IDE. See this link: github.com/.../arduino-nRF5

But there are no support for nRF52840 as of now.

I sugget you to spend some time to get familiar with nRF5 SDK and one of the supported IDEs( i.e. Keil, Segger Embedded Studio, Eclipse, IAR etc).It is not as easy as using the Arduino IDE, but if you make a product that uses the nRF52840 then its going to be worth the effort.
