Debugging in Keil, the firmware runs fine up to ble_stack_init(). Within ble_stack_init() the call to sd_ble_enable(&ble_enable_params); returns error code 5

RE: sd_ble_enable returns error code 5

Hello !

I am having the same problem but using SDK v6.0 and SoftDevice 7.0.0-3.
Is it really safe to comment out the block ? Will the ble stack be enabled ?
I have read somewhere that the SOFTDEVICE_HANDLER_INIT macro would enable it but I would like confirmation.

Thanks !

RE: sd_ble_enable returns error code 5

Thanks Ulrich ..now that explains a lot of strange behavior I was finding!

I had completely assumed that SDK 6.0.0 refers to S110 6.0.0 ...thought the version numbers simply followed each other.

RE: sd_ble_enable returns error code 5

The SDK v6.0 is for S110 version 7.0.0. If you are using the S110 6.0.0 you have to use SDK version 5.2. The API call sd_ble_enable() does not exist in 6.0.0.

RE: sd_ble_enable returns error code 5

it seems I have found a solution ...I commented out the complete code block shown in my post above and now it works as expected.
