Sorry, you are right... there are plans to fix this in future, but I don't have any schedule.

Thank you for your suggestion.

I tried the SEGGER setup come with the Thingy52 sdk. Unfortunately that project setup is incomplete and has lots of broken links.

Hi, hopefully someone will be able to help you setup Ecplise. I would like to mention that nRF5 SDK natively support the following development IDE as-is:

You can get a free commercial license for SEGGER Embedded Studio that works with all common OS (Windows, Linux, MacOS). There is also a youtube video that shows how to request your free license in your browser and add the activation key in SEGGER Embedded Studio.
