Sorry for the late reply.

There is an upcoming release of Mesh SDK. The new light-switch-examples will print the node addresses. Provisioner will print addresses for servers and clients during the provisioning process.

i would like to find the right unicast address for the node and would like to now what kind of node it is, because i create a user interface where a user should be able to control different devices

RE: find the address

Hi,

I recommend you read the introductory material we provide on Bluetooth Mesh to get an overview of how things work. This will make it possible to use the same terminology and help us in answering your questions: Basic Bluetooth Mesh Concepts.

Maybe you can also help with something else because I think how does the client know what message it should send to the simple node, for example, if a node is to turn on light and another node is to measure the heat how does the client know who is who

RE: find the address

Hi, each mesh node could have multiple models, and each models has an unicast address which was assigned by the config client.

RE: find the address

Maybe you can also help with something else because I think how does the client know what message it should send to the simple node, for example, if a node is to turn on light and another node is to measure the heat how does the client know who is who

RE: find the address

yeah somthing like that Yes, but where to put it?

RE: find the address

oh yeah, maybe I should have explained a little closer, but I would like the unicast address
