&lt;p&gt;&lt;span lang="no"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000000;font-family:&amp;#39;Segoe UI&amp;#39;;font-size:small;"&gt;These numbers are set very conservative, the flash IP used is actually qualified to 10years @ 85°C, but we do our own qualification, which is tested to 48years @ 40°C. However since the target application is consumer products, we have only specified minimum 10years @ 40°C in the datasheet. In any case you can rely on the flash retention to last for many, many years to come.&lt;/span&gt; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
