Currently, there are three apps that support DFU on iOS (<a href="https://github.com/NordicSemiconductor/IOS-Nordic-Thingy" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Thingy</a>,<a href="https://github.com/NordicSemiconductor/IOS-nRF-Toolbox" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"> nRF Toolbox</a> &amp; nRF Connect). It seems the Thingy app uses Carthage &amp; the nRF Toolbox app uses Cocoapods. Maybe an older version of one of these two apps does not have one of the two dependency managers you mentioned (just a guess)?. The nRF Connect code is unfortunately not available on Github.&nbsp;</p> <p>There is an old <a href="https://github.com/NordicPlayground/IOS-nRF-Loader" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">nRF Loader app</a> that might be helpful, but this app is old &amp; deprecated, so I am not sure if it will be of much use.
