I tested this, and I'm able to merge the ble_app_blinky example with the s132 v5.0.0 softdevice without errors. Have you changed the project in any way? Please try with a fresh extracted SDK.

Thanks. I have tried the solutions, but it didn't work for me. I managed to merge other hex generated from ble_app_uart and the result is success. I still have no clue what is the different between the ble_app_blinky and ble_app_uart setting

Hi,

You can change the FLASH and RAM start an size configuration in the project options. Make sure you select the "Common" build configurations.
