I'm trying to run some examples using my nRF52840 . I noticed that the BLE header files used in the SDK 14.2.0 are different than what's in the standalone S140 (6.0.0-6.alpha). For instance, these two ble_gap.h files have a lot differences including

RE: How to use the softdevice (S140-SD-v6) with SDK (14.2.0)??

Thanks Kenneth.

I'll try the SEGGER IDE. Is there any way to experience the Bluetooth 5 advertisements with the current SDKv14 in my setting?

either way, looking forward to the SDKv15 release next Monday!

RE: How to use the softdevice (S140-SD-v6) with SDK (14.2.0)??

Hi, my recommendation in this case is wait until Monday when SDKv15 with SDv6.0 (production version) is relased. The issues you are currently experiencing is likely due to different alpha release used between SDK and SD, in any case you should use the production version that will be ready on Monday. I would also like to mention that our SDK are not delivered with Eclipse support, so instead you should consider using SEGGER embedded studio (free commercial license for Nordic ic and gcc compiler):

Then all the examples will work straight away.
