If you update to a newer major version of the SoftDevice then you will have to update the bootloader as well in the same update. Those rules are enforced by the DFU bootloader, which means you will always have a functioning bootloader/SoftDevice combination.</p> <p>Regards,<br />Terje</p><div style="clear:both;"></div>
