If you tested BLE examples, did you remember to <a href="http://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/com.nordic.infocenter.sdk5.v14.2.0/getting_started_softdevice.html?cp=4_0_1_1_3">flash the softdevice</a>? If you have erased the entire chip using <a href="http://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/com.nordic.infocenter.tools/dita/tools/nrf5x_command_line_tools/nrf5x_nrfjprogexe_reference.html?cp=5_1_3_0">nrfjprog</a> or nRFgo Studio, the bootloader should be gone. There is no need for a bootloader when using SDK 14, unless you want to do device firmware updates (<a href="http://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/com.nordic.infocenter.sdk5.v14.2.0/examples_bootloader.html?cp=4_0_1_4_4">DFU</a>), etc.</p> <p>Please have a look at <a href="http://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/com.nordic.infocenter.sdk5.v14.2.0/sdk_for_custom_boards.html?cp=4_0_1_1_5">this guide</a> on using the SDK with custom boards.</p><div style="clear:both;"></div>
