&lt;p&gt;Their antenna measurements stated that both elements were active at the same time.&amp;nbsp; Due to the poor match their antenna efficiency was -8dB which is 6dB down from the antenna spec. Or another way to look at it is, they just halved their range.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I think they really think they can put two antennae together like that. Earlier they referred to it as a splitter.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The schematic looks correct. To avoid getting hard to find capacitor values for C125 and C126, it&amp;#39;s a good idea to place a empty footprint in parallel with each of the caps. It makes NFC antenna tuning easier.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
