&lt;p&gt;CALIBRATEOFFSET is a hardware feature, not a software function. The SAADC will sample the input and use an algotithm to find the offset value. The offset value will be stored in the peripheral and used to compensate the offset error.&amp;nbsp;It is recommended to&amp;nbsp;run calibration at least once, and on major temperature changes, as described in the &lt;a href="http://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/com.nordic.infocenter.nrf52840.ps/saadc.html?cp=2_0_0_5_22_7#unique_1890324730"&gt;documentation&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;
