Normally you program a nrf52 dev kit using Segger Embedded Studio with the JLINK interface. I do not believe it will work to program the nrf52832 with SES, as I have not found any tutorials or info online. Probably best to follow the tutorial here.

Hey Bjorn,

Would this work with the nRf52832 breakout board by Sparkfun? I’m using an FTDI to connect the board to my computer. Would this method work with that board as well?

Pretty sure this is shown in the youtube tutorial videos. Compile the project first, then Press Target -> Connect J-Link & then Target -> Download "your application name" (e.g. ble_app_blinky_pca10040_s132).

How do I upload the code to nRF52832 through Segger studio? I was able to compile the code but cant figure out how to upload it. Thanks!

If you are very interested in getting started with Nordic, I can highly recommend downloading segger embedded studio, take a look at our youtube tutorials & download the latest Nordic SDK. You can then take a look at some of the examples & documentation in the Nordic Infocenter (master link, slave link).
