Good that it is working on the other board. Is there any difference between the two boards?

It is also possible to compare what is written to flash on the two chips using nrfjprog: read flash using nrfjprog, redirect the output to a file. Then, compare the two flash-read-out files using a compare tool.

Dear Kristin,

Surprisingly the same example code is now working on the other board I have.

May be the error in initializing the FDS was specific to a particular board. But do you think any scenario in which this can happen?

If you step through fds_test_init(), fds_register() and fds_init(), where does the application "fail"?

Even this example gives the same error code(0x02) after FDS init function.

I guess, this is not the problem of registering the event handler.

Because I have just checked that my app goes into the my_fds_evt_handler()

BUT p_fds_evt->result != FDS_SUCCESS

Please check the code below

It's already there in the main file in sys_evt_dispatch().

You can also check in the link I downloaded the source code from. as I mentioned in UPDATE 1 .

Did you remember to add fs_sys_event_handler(..) to sys_evt_dispatch()?

Update 1:

I have recently tested the fds_example_master code (without any change) downloaded from github here FDS Example.

I am getting the same error i.e. err_code=0x2 in fds_test_find_and_delete(); function which means that the FDS module is not initialized.

Can anyone test the example code and verify this.

I am using SDK11.
