We might add AE example in the next SDK, but please do not consider this as a promise. This is a very important feature and our SDK will not miss an example on it for too long.

Thank you for your answer and for your sample project, this helps a lot.

Are there any information on when these features will be released? Are they planned for the next major release of the Soft Device or might they become available in a minor point release in the near future?

I can totally understand if there is no information on this, but if it is I would be glad to know.

Sorry for the late response Christian,

We do not have any example for AE in the SDK now, we are working on it.

Until then you can use a modified att_mtu_example that I modified to test AE for long range. Use this as an example as I did this as my hobby side project.

No, unfortunately, there are no workaround for that in the released version. We are working to extend that feature to support longer adv and longer LL payload
