hey did you interface your LIS2DH accelerometer with nrf51822? Can you share it with me?

Thanks Martin, That answers most of my questions. So the memory left for programming application is 20 kb.

Now I will try 12.3 SDK and SPI to interface LIS2DH Acceleraometer

Here is the Memory resource requirements for the S130

So it should not be a problem for you as I see it.

The SDKs after the version SDK v12.3, is supporting only the nRF52 series. So for your nRF51822 the latest version is the V12.3.
On nordicsemi.com both are available if you check the download tab.

Does SDK v12.3 is suitable for nRF51822( QFAB) I have read somewhere that the SD130 size is bit big.

I have also seen SDK V15.0 on developer.nordicsemi.com. So the latest one is V12 or V15? On the nordicsemi.com only 12 is available so does it mean v12 is production ready and above V12 all are still in test phase?

Hello Ketan,

Since the SDK v5.2.0 and Softdevice S110 is quite "old", I would highly recommend you to get the latest possible version for the nRF51 series, which is the SDK v12.3 and S130 v2.0.x. (seen in this compatibility matrix)

You can download the appropriate SDK here.

You should consider the SPI master driver and check out the SPI master example code found in the SDK folder: [<InstallFolder>\examples\peripheral\spi]
