It's a best solution even if you are new to embedded development.

First look in datasheet and compare it with image below, it may help you.

Configure any GPIO pins as SDA and SCL, look for example as suggested.

I would suggest that you take a look in the datasheet for the sensor you are using on how to physically connect to it.

Which pins etc. that you need to connect to should be stated there.

thanks for the links to the examples.

But my question was mostly about how to PHYSICALLY connect the sensor to the board.

What is the easiest way ?

Are there any tutorials on that ?

hi,

the best way to connect the bmp280 sensor is in twi. there is examples in SDK-->examples-->peripherals-->twi_sensor and twi_scanner. hope that two examples will be helpful to you.
