We transferred the nRF52840 to production just a couple of weeks ago and lead customers will get samples first. I honestly don't know what timeline you can expect, but the RSM does.

The USB should be fully functional now, but as usual, always keep an eye on related errata:New and inherited anomalies.

We support most BLE 5 features now, but we have not yet qualified the extended advertising parts. The relevant APIs are included in the Softdevice though, so you can start experimenting.

I do not know. We are using a University in Yverdon (HEIG-VD) for the prototype. We are trying to design now the casing but do not know if we need a SD card in the future. It would be very helpful if you could just indicate when the new version is available in Switzerland and whether a mini USB will work with this new chip version. It would help to also know if Bluetooth 5 also works with this version.
