i am trying to migrate from SDK 14.2 to SDK 15 but I got this problem with updating "advertising" and "scan response data". I have read other threads/post but couldn't find a reliable solution.
To understand your code and add the patch would take about 40h provided your code is already SDK15. That would be totalling about CA$16000. If your code is not SDK15 and no secured connection, it would take about 4 weeks (160h) totalling CA$64000 for porting from SDK14 to SDK15. With secure connection, it will take 3 months (480h) totalling CA$192000.

RE: Updating Advertising Data in SDK15

Thank you for the reply but I do not want to include more 3rd party libraries in the project

RE: Updating Advertising Data in SDK15

See this blog Bluetooth LE with Nordic nRF51 & nRF52 Series The easy way! Now with workaround advertisement issue of SDK15.

RE: Updating Advertising Data in SDK15

Any progress?

RE: Updating Advertising Data in SDK15

Joakim Jakobsen Do you have tested the code ?
Let me know if that helps.

Now I use "ble_advertising_init" and "ble_advertising_conn_cfg_tag_set" to initialize and I can just update "advertising data" by using "ble_advdata_encode" and "sd_ble_gap_adv_set_configure". So I had to skip "scan response data". I couldn't find any solutions to initialize them both and update them later. It crushed everytime.

Again a simple example would be helpful.

RE: Updating Advertising Data in SDK15

I think I may have misunderstood.
Are you having trouble adding data to the advertising and scan response packets?
