Yes, this is possible. The event length(NRF_SDH_BLE_GAP_EVENT_LENGTH in sdk_config.h) should be used together with the connection interval to set the desired bandwidth of the connection. I also recommend that you read the Scheduling chapter in the SoftDevice Specification, particularly the chapters on “Connection timing with Connection Event Length Extension” and “Suggested intervals and windows” are relevant here.
