&lt;p&gt;The application note code uses USB as the transport layer,&amp;nbsp;which is not present in other nRF24L-series devices.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Yes, it is possible to get this working using the nRF24LE1 or the nRF24L01+, but you have to port the example code transport layer yourself.&lt;/p&gt;
