I was speaking of the Software Development Kit (SDK), and not the nRF DK. What firmware did you try to upload through the iPhone? Something that you compiled yourself? What did you compile?

Did you try to hold the button SW1 WHILE inserting the battery?

I do not have an nRF SDK, I only have the nRF51822, which will overload the FW through an iPhone.

Hello,

If the bootloader is still present, you should be able to access it, if it isn't overwritten. As it is stated in this post, you can enter bootloader mode by holding the SW1 while plugging in the battery. After this, you must compile the beacon project so that you get the correct hex file, and upload it through DFU, as you did before.

Do you have the SDK for the nRF beacon kit?
