Thank you. It worked. All I had to do was running heart_rate_monitor.js under node_modules/pc-ble-driver-js/examples under the working directory. I tried to run from the different directory which caused lots of missing files.

1) To get rid of the error "Cannot find module 'underscore' ", you will need to do "npm install" once more.

2) In pc-ble-driver-js, there is an empty folder name 'pc-ble-driver', indicating the pc-ble-driver is needed. Clone pc-ble-driver into the pc-ble-driver-js folder.

3) Run the example like described: node examples/heart_rate_monitor.js <PORT> <SD_API_VERSION>

The reason for this problem is that you are using NodeJS 64-bit, which is currently not supported. Installing (and using) NodeJS 32-bit should solve the problem.
