was a bad copy of the SDK. Your link http://developer.nordicsemi.com/nRF5_SDK/nRF5_SDK_v15.x.x/ works however

I just "installed" by double clicking the emPackage for version 8.16.0, still same error. anyway I can verify the installation?

You are using the SES Project file from SDK v15 right?

(Do not use project file from sdk14.2)

Yes that path is correct. My segger studio version is

Hi Luke,

You are using an unmodified version of the SDK v15?

What version of Segger Embedded studio are you using?

And you get this error when you are building the example project in ["nRF5_SDK_15.0.0_a53641a\examples\ble_peripheral\ble_app_hrs\pca10056\ser_s140_spi_5W\ses"]?

The reason I am asking is that it compiles just fine on my side.
