 Ipv6 UUID 0x1820 shall be present in the advertising process. Is it mandatory to put it in the ADV_IND message or can it be in the SCAN_RSP one ? ... the scanner, 6BR or other, has to use the active scanning or the passive mode is enough ?

&lt;p&gt;The specification states that this shall be included in the AD fields, and not in the&amp;nbsp;SR&amp;nbsp;fields. It might be that this works with some vendors, but it is highly recommended to use the method that is described by the &lt;a href="https://www.bluetooth.org/docman/handlers/DownloadDoc.ashx?doc_id=296307"&gt;IPSP GATT service specification&lt;/a&gt;:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;pre class="ui-code" data-mode="text"&gt;4.1.3 Service UUID AD Type
When in a GAP Discoverable Mode for an initial connection to a Router, the Node shall include
the IP Support Service UUID defined in [2] in the Service UUIDs AD type field of the advertising
data. &lt;/pre&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The &amp;quot;shall&amp;quot; keyword is a requirement, while &amp;quot;should&amp;quot; keyword is optional when reading BT specs.&lt;/p&gt;
