Yes, both are called PCA10056. The nRF52840 DK uses IC revision 1.

Yes. The main differerence is the nRF52840 IC revision that is on the board. See this page. There are 3 erratas that are fixed from Eng.B to Eng.C/Rev.1. See this list.

Hmmm. After digging through my pile of old emails, I now realize that we bought nRF52840 PDKs (and not nRF52 PDKs.)

So, the new question is: Are the nRF52840 PDK and nRF52840 DK equivalent, from a programming point of view?

Also, are both called PCA10056?
