We would like to make logging work with IAR. Right now, we get a warning that the "format" attribute isn't supported.

Is there a quick and dirty way to make logging work, outputting to the UART like in

RE: MESH Logging in IAR

You could try to combine the UART example with the mesh stack or add UART functionality to a mesh sdk v2.0.1 example. I would either advise you to talk to IAR support or switch to Segger Embedded Studio if that is a possibility. SES is a free IDE for Nordic SDK users. If you do decide to switch to SES when developing with our Mesh SDK, here is a good Youtube playlist to getting started: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YZouRE_Ol8g&list=PLx_tBuQ_KSqGHmzdEL2GWEOeix-S5rgTV
