If I connect supply from laptop using micro USB cable, battery on PDK also gets discharged?
Asking this because in the initial stages of testing PDK battery is working. After that I got to use power supply most of the times. I am surprised now

RE: Battery issue on nRF52840 PDK

Hello Jonnavittula,

It is not optimal to have the battery in the board while connected to USB if you want to preserve the batteries life.

Because of the diodes in the circuit the board will be powered by the source that has the highest voltage, which can be the battery.

Most likely you have powered your board with the battery even if you have been connected with the USB.
