&lt;p&gt;I rebuild the openthread NCP code based on the latest version on git (commit &lt;span class="sha-block"&gt;&lt;span class="sha user-select-contain"&gt;c87a81d&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;), and follow the instruction on the infocenter link. Unfortunatly, I couldn&amp;#39;t find the folders for step 5 for the USB connectivity, so I skipped them, and it doesn&amp;#39;t seem to make any issue.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;So once more i launch my app and after some time another issue rose : &amp;quot;SpinelNCPInstance-Protothreads.cpp:228: Requirement Failed (Timed out while waiting 5 seconds for empty outbound buffer)&amp;quot;, followed by &amp;quot;NCP is misbehaving or unresponsive&amp;quot; and then &amp;quot;State change: &amp;quot;associated&amp;quot; -&amp;gt; &amp;quot;uninitialized&amp;quot;&amp;quot;, and a failing attempt to reset. I upload the syslog and getprop, check out the device02.syslog file. I have no sniffer data, but my app network log (so above the wpantund network interface) tell me that device01 and 03 stop receiving from device02 at 09:26:36.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Here is an archive of the latest experiment that failed, this time it is the device 01 that failed (it was a router). There is the output of the commands for each devices and a capture performed using pyspinel on another PC. Device01 address is 0xcc00 and its last message is at packet 319922 (15:53:52.525670). Hope it helps.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It is the sending that fails first,&amp;nbsp; the buggy devices still receives messages until 15:53:57.677357 (that is around packet 320101), and the syslog indicate that it went from router to leader at 15:56:45 :&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;In the mean time, it seems you think it is related to some kind of buffer being filled or overflowed, is that correct ? My application indeed sends quiet a lot of messages (around 70 packets/s) but stays under the ~200 kb/s (closer to 40-50 kb/s).
