I am new to Nordic products so please apologize me if I am asking a trivial question, but a bit lost on it. I would like to use Thingy 52 board for my project ( I wanted to add one external sensor on existing I2C bus on Thingy ). However, I am using nRF52832 Devkit for the moment, here is the thing, I want to connect a capacitive sensor IQS231A which works with I2C, am a bit lost from where to start or which example should i start with. I need simple code which i can read/write over I2C.

Thanks a lot in advance.

Best regards,

No need to apologize.

1. Download the Thingy firmware here and follow the description in the readme.

2. Download Keil or you could use GCC.

3. Compile your code and build

4. Connect the 10 pin connector as shown in the figure:

5. Flash the build .hex file

6. Test the application

-- I would also recommend you to read through the answer in this thread for some extra explanation.

(If you want to add a sensor you could use the I/O expander and you can use the TWI examples (from the SDKv13 since the Thingy FW is build upon SDK 13) as reference which you can add to your application)
