Any ideas on how we get the firmware we need to do that? We figured this out eventually. We were thinking we had to load new firmware to do Gazell, so we were looking around for it.

RE: How do I load the Gazell protocol on the nRF51822?

The nRF51822-EK should have a product key printed on a sticker. If you create a MyPage account on www.nordicsemi.no the product key will give you access to the nRF51 SDK. In this SDK there's a library with all the gazell function calls. So the Gazell protocol is delivered as a pre-compiled library.
