I'm having an issue when I try to connect to my device from an iPhone X. I'm using SD132 v6.0.0 on SDK 15.
The phone tries to connect and then it times out. All other phones I've tried worked fine. Could it be something related to Bluetooth

RE: iPhone X can't connect

Hi Kenneth, thanks a lot for your answer! That was indeed the problem, I wasn't handling the PHY update requests.

RE: iPhone X can't connect

Hi Andy,

The BLE_HCI_STATUS_CODE_LMP_RESPONSE_TIMEOUT typically means there was a procedure that timed-out. Likely due to an event that occurred from the softdevice that was not handled by the application. Is there any way you can output the BLE events and see if any event stands out? Likely it will only be 1 instance of it, so may not be so difficult to find.

For instance you may check if BLE_GAP_EVT_PHY_UPDATE_REQUEST is handled:
http://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/com.nordic.infocenter.s132.api.v6.0.0/group___b_l_e___g_a_p___p_e_r_i_p_h_e_r_a_l___p_h_y___u_p_d_a_t_e.html
