Hi Robert,

If this only occurs with the Sony mobile, it does sound like there is an issue there.

Could you maybe test with another example like "ble_app_uart" to confirm that the application on the peripheral side doesn't matter regarding to this issue?

I have discovered that Sony Xperia E6633 won't handle more than 6 characters when we set the peripheral name through ->

#define NRF_DFU_BLE_ADV_NAME

We simply set the length to a name of 6 characters

It is from Android studio, I have the same issue with nRF Toolbox android app

On what application is this screenshot taken?

Do you see similar effect with the nrf connect app?
